The Gadget Challenge is a business simulation designed by ESAC to help managers master business acumen.
It can be delivered with the same effectiveness, face-to-face or online.
During this simulation, participants take on the role of executive directors at a company and make many decisions, ranging from new product development to payment terms given to customers.
Crucially, the results of the decisions are analyzed round by round, and compared to the real company decisions and consequences, and the impact they have on the financial statements.

After all the teams have made their decisions, the facilitator facilitates the market. At this stage, sales are awarded to teams per their decisions.
Each team then receives their actual sales data and company results, which they can analyze by comparing their Income Statements and Balance Sheet to those of other teams
After each round, the facilitator draws conclusions and points learned from the participants.
He then provides theory on the concepts used during the simulation, and may run some exercises on topics selected by the client.
Duration
The training duration offers flexibility tailored to the client's needs and preferences, varying depending on the selected content.
Typically, sessions can span from 7 to 14 hours. For those seeking a concise overview or a refresher on finance fundamentals, a shorter 7-hour course is available.
However, for a comprehensive exploration, including in-depth analysis of the Balance Sheet, Working Capital, and the Income Statement, with a comparison to the client's company numbers, a full 2-day program is recommended.
